Day 4: Miller Park (Milwaukee Brewers vs. Boston Red Sox)

Today, we traveled to Miller Park in Milwaukee, and we had a blast watching the Boston Red Sox defeat the Milwaukee Brewers by a final score of 4-1. When we got to the park, we sat at TGIF and took the game in via the left field while we ate lunch! It was such a great view! The kids enjoyed watching the roof open up so the sun could make its way into the ball park. In left field, we were able to see the pitchers warming up in the bullpen, and we even got to watch the end of the teams' warmups.

The game was a nail biter with the Red Sox overcoming the 1-1 tie with a 3-run homerun in the top of the 9th inning. The trip to Milwaukee was long, but the students were able to visit a conference rival of the Chicago Cubs battle a big-time program like the Boston Red Sox. Overall, we had a great time!

The students' job today was to complete a sports column on the game and the overall experience of seeing Miller Park and watching Brewer baseball for the first time.
